In a theatrical production I need to connect a video projector to a mac laptop over a 300′ distance. I have seen it done before going VGA to composite to VGA. I know nothing about video cable. Does this sound right? Where would I buy such a thing? Would I need an amplifer?

I want to purchase a relatively inexpensive video projector, but one that is decent quality. This will be used for powerpoint presentations and not for TV. I also need a remote control for it. What features and connection types should I look for?

The projector I want is the Optoma ES520. I am going to eventually buy some speakers but however it states on the Optoma website that the projector has a built in speaker. I believe this speaker is a one watt speaker so will this be sufficient for playing video games listening to music?

I am looking for a projector to watch TV, and play video games on in HD. I have found good projectors in the $600-$800 range but I go back and forth on contrast ration and brightness. Any reccomendations as well would be great
