Can I play video games (PS2) on an InFocus 9305 projector?

I am going to buy a low end projector <1000$ at 800×600 resolution 2000:1 contrast and 2000 lumens so is this good for video games PS2, PC, and Xbox360.
And most importantly how do games look on a 800×600 projector if the room is dark?

This is strange. I have an acer PD 100 projector and it ghosts when I watch movies (pretty badly). Yet when I play video games, I notice no ghosting whatsoever. Why would it be like this and not the other way around? Is there any way to fix this?
