I want a 1080p picture, but I’m wondering about the “supports up to” part of the projector’s description on a 720 projector.
In other words, if I can spend $1500 over $2500, and still have a great picture, I’ll do it.

I had an Optoma EP721 Projector with a native resolution of 800×600, but the lumens were 2200. I’m thinking about getting the Optoma HD20 now but it only has 1700 lumens but also has a native 1080P resolution.
Should I upgrade (in resolution wise) to the Optoma HD20 1080P projector with the “sacrifice” of the lumens?

I am looking at getting a 1080p projector and want some recommendations. Also what is a good HD tuner to go with this projector?
