I almost laughed at reading this. Almost. It’s so stupid I can’t even laugh completely.
“President Bush has taken unprecedented steps to stop the spread of weapons of mass destruction”
Unprecedented because the former presidents were not THAT stupid and reckless.
“America is in the process of deploying a missile defense that will help protect the United States and its allies from catastrophic attacks”
Ya! My evil cat is preparing to attack the US as we speak. He h4xx BTW!
“Under President Bush’s leadership, the economy has been growing at rates as fast as any in nearly 20 years”
Didn’t seem like that. I recall a certain MAJOR ECONOMIC DOWNFALL of the US. Remember the Euro-Dollar difference?
The other stuff written in there were not out of “good leadership” but were simply decided FOR him by his people.

I used to hate Bush, but I am neutral about him now. It’s just too easy to hate the most hated man in the world. I want to see what his reputation will be like in 10 years or 20 years. It’s irrelevant right now. A bad economy = a bad president. The presidents that are rated the highest are presidents during good economic times, and presidents that are rated the lowest are presidents during bad economic times.

I would say Bush has faced some of the toughest challenges.
The problems Bush faced after 9/11 were far more difficult than what Clinton or even his father had faced.
It’s one thing to fight a nation, but taking on something abstract like terrorism is a much more difficult fight. To make matters worse, all this happened at a time when partisan politics is at an all time high.
Unfortunately Bush also made many mistakes that gave ammunition to his enemies.

This guy sounds higher than a kite, its a puff piece, the kind you give to brainwash kids who are learning American ”history” in third grade.
Ones who can’t read the papers for themselves.
His term has been among the most consequential all right, we are deeper in debt than ever before in our history, we have reached historic highs in debt, our businesses have acted like greedy pigs and are working hard to erase the middle class that made us great.
So the rich can have more.
    And thats the good side.

It’s not really a shock considering the site it is posted on…. what is more shocking (and depressing) to me is the fact that there are STILL people out there who support this clown and think he’s done a good job.

I’d say not. His choice of Iraq as a target of military action renders everything else unimportant.

Based on what? Bush Jr’s own opinion? His entire 8 years have been a series of one failure after another.
